3 Month Update
I had my three month check-ups today. I'm doing well. Losing an average of 2.8 pounds a week. The Surgeon told me I should be losing 3 a week so I'm a bit off. I have to up my protein. I did notice that my weight loss this month has been a bit faster so far. The one thing I changed is my multi vitamin. I switched from Centrum Adult chewables to Swiss brand for women 50+ and added a B100 complex. I don't know if that's why but I'll take it!
Referred January 7/17, Orientation Humber May 28/17, Meet Dr. August 4/17, TRIO November 3/17, Internist November 21/17, Surgeon again December 21/17, Pre-op assessment January 4/18 and Surgery January 12/18.
That's great! I'm glad things are going well.
I just recently switched my vitamins from Celebrate to ProCare. I will probably switch again at one point until I figure out what works best for me, and taking into consideration the cost.

I am cutting the Swiss and B100 comps in two and there is no problem. And I've been able the swallow the ferritin capsule without issue.

Congrats on your three months. I don't think it's fair of your Surgeon to say you should be at 3 lbs a week. We all lose at different rates. Some people lose more than that a week and some less. As long as you are losing then you are doing great.
Keep up with the high protein, low carb and drink liquids like it's your job and you will continue to lose.
Best of luck, keep up the good work
