Got a surgery date!!
I'm in Hamilton and today I went to see the surgeon to sign consents and after that I was given a surgery date. My surgery is May 2nd and I start opti fast on April 16 (in 6 days). I'm beyond happy right now. My journey started when my name was sent into the bariatric system (june 6th/2017) and my first orientation was October 2nd/2017. So 7 months from orientation to surgery. I'm so excited and nervous for the next 3 weeks!!

Congrats on getting your date- so exciting! I'm only three weeks out but feels like the best decision I ever made. Every difficult moment is worth it:)

Congrats, its a big decision, but wonderful from the otherside, I'm 6-1/2 weeks out plus did 3 weeks Opti and I'm almost half way to my initial goal, before you know it you'll be past the liquid phase and on the Losers Bench.

Congratulations!!! That is super exciting. Surgery is around the corner for you. It is the best thing I ever did for myself. 7 and a bit months out, and my life is completely different. :)

I just finished all the appointments I am just over a year. waiting for my surgeon appointment TWH they keep saying they are backed up.
