Good morning everybody. Very cold and windy here this morning as well. I don't like it. Please bring on the sunshine already. Skipped the gym this morning because I have to have my 2 year bloodwork done. Fasting for 13 hours then the gym then 9 or 10 vials of blood sounded like a disaster waiting to happen.

I will admit I've been MIA with posting lately, just seems like it was the same few people. I will try and start the thread more regularly and see if we get others joining in.

Post Op 23+ mos

B - 1/2 bagel, 1 egg, 1 cheese slice

S - greek yogurt

L - chili, tomato/cucumber salad w. greek dressing

S - 4 oz roasted chicken breast

D - bacon wrapped filet mignon, steamed cauliflower

S - navel orange (in totals don't know if I will eat it)

Total Cal 1308, Carbs 88, Protein 112

Have a great day!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

You need to remember that I'm through TWH. I was told at pre-op that Guelph is 2 weeks clear fluids followed by 2 weeks full fluids so keep this in mind about where you might be in the process. I started pureed food on Monday.

Oh right you are through TWH. Yes Guelph is different.

Silly question so your pureeing this food? Sounds like a great meal!

Cottage cheese is considered a liquid, refried beans are already pureed and meatloaf is basically pureed.

Oh wow, the things I am learning. All this will help me so much as I thought we had to actually put almost everything in a blender.

Thanks

You actually are supposed to put foods in the puree stage in a blender. You should be able to eat them through a large straw. Meatloaf and toast are absolutely not pureed.

I've never heard anyone claim meatloaf or melba toast were pureed before.

You could put a KFC Bowl through a blender, doesn't mean you should
