Does everybody stall within the first month?

Hi, I've been reading up and have seen many people talking about hitting a stall at 2 or 3 weeks some at 4 or 5. Does this happen to everyone ? I'm just wondering what to expect.

I haven't had surgery but I think so. It's normal cause your body kinda freaks out since you lose so much weight it thinks something is wrong so you usually stall at 3-6 weeks

Yup, I had a 2 week stall a couple weeks out of surgery. I was so paranoid surgery was all for nothing. You'll have lots of stalls, unfortunately.

No, it doesn't happen to everyone. Some people lose at a more constant rate and others in a stair-step fashion. Everyone is different, so don't worry too much about how other people are losing :)

I did. And thanks to here, I didn't fret, stuck to plan and within a week or so I started dropping again.

I stalled after day 5. I lost 5 to 7 pounds right away and then nothing for 4 weeks. It was a awful time but looking back now it seems small. It is good to prepare for. Assume it will happen but it will be all ok in the end. I promise.

I was going nuts. LOL

not everyone - but most of us do. It's called the "three week stall" because it *usually* happens the third week, but it can really happen any time within the first six weeks or so. I stalled weeks 2 and 3. During week 4, I dropped like 6-8 lbs within a couple of days.

i remember pre-surgery seeing people talk about the stall. And I kept thinking, you've lost XX already. Why panic.

Yet here I am in my own 3 week stale wagging my fist at the scale. lol
