Taking meds with food

Hi friendly folk!

For those of you on medications that have to be taken with food, do you wait 30 minutes in order to avoid drinking too soon, or do you find it ok to take them right away?

I take mine right before I take a bite to eat...dietician said you can actually drink right up to eating with rny since it goes right down but you do need to wait the half hour after, I figure better to take them before given that.

My first 6 weeks out I took my pills 30 minutes after eating. I'm now 3 months out and take my medication 15 minutes after I eat. I don't drink a ton of water with my pills, though.

I take my meds with water before my meals, still doing insulin then too, I was also told not to worry so much about drinking water before eating.

Youre able to drink right up until you eat!! I take mine a min before i eat
