Appointments and tests done - Waiting for surgeon call

I'm really lucky that I got done everything this quickly. (I'm at St. Joseph's in Hamilton)

Applied for program: June 6, 2017

Letter for orientation: June 11, 2017

Orientation: October 2, 2017

Dietician orientation: December 15, 2017

Nurse and ecg test: January 16, 2018

Abdominal ultrasound: January 30

Dietician was booking for May 2018 but there was a cancellation so I had the dietician and social worker on February 5, 2018.

Endoscopy: February 16

Internal medicine: March 6

I'm only 20 (21 in july) and i don't smoke, drink, have sleep apnea, or other issues so things went fast. My nurse appointment was only 10 minutes long and my internist appointment was 5 minutes lol. I was told it would be a good idea to call my nurse and let her know that i've been cleared and have all my tests done so she can get me my surgeons' appointment. I'm praying I get that call soon ??

St. Joe's in Hamilton seems to be moving along at a record pace. All in all it's taken me almost a year and my last appointment (pre- op) is scheduled for Monday coming with surgery scheduled for March 17th. It took me 9 weeks to get an appointment with the surgeon. However if your schedule allows some flexibility, you can call the centre and ask if there are any cancellations.
