I know you said no more replies, but there is a pregnancy board on here and you may have people that are in the same situation.

As a reminder to other female members- fertility can really be increased after surgery. Most surgeons recommend 2 forms of birth control.

You only have one honeymoon with surgery. After that it is a very slow slog.

I was on birth control

Who cares? You're done right? You don't want to talk anymore?

What makes you think your birth control or lack thereof is of any interest to those of us here? It certainly wasn't a part of your opening post.

You've crapped all over pretty much every single person who tried to answer your question with some honesty. People with integrity tend to tell the truth. Many people, longtime members of this forum who are successful and have met their goals attempted to reason with you. You chose to listen to the one or two posters who want to hold your hand and tell you that your weight will just fall right off now - even though you used up valuable "honeymoon" time immediately post op by getting pregnant.

If there was some specific wording you felt you needed to hear, or a certain answer you would have considered valid you should have posted your question and then answered it yourself.

Basically that's what you did anyway.

And just a heads up. You can post whatever you want on a public forum. But you don't get to decide how people respond. And guess what? You don't even get to decide when to end your thread.

Congratulations on your new baby. I hope that precious little life doesn't absorb your frustration at your inability to work your program.

First off i didnt choose to get pregnant. Especially not three months out.

Secondly my ability to care for and love my son has absolutely nothing to do with my weight loss.

I dont really care how it was worded oeople shouldnt be quick to jumpthe gun and make assumptions. I get its an open forum i wasnt born yesterday.one thing ive noticed abt the ?vets? is theyre cold, and dont have any compassion or consideration for each unique journey ad everyone has a different story to tell and has a different journey

again hope everyone has a great weekend

Congrats on your new baby. Most of the sarcastic replies you are getting aren't from Ontario. Ignore them. They are far more judgemental then we are. Just keep doing what you are doing. It will start to come off again. Maybe go low cal 2 days then higher cal 2 days. Sometimes our body needs a switch up. All the best. Don't be afraid to post again. Your Ontario peeps will support you.

No... but support is certainly a vital component. Just cause werre nice, doesn't make us any less helpful. We go about it constructively, in a way that builds community and that works for us. There is nothing wrong with that. We don't go on the general board and tell you you're behaving badly.

Please, all of you... stop telling us our approach here is wrong. It works for us.

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.
