Overwhelmed!

Its finally here! I leave for Pre-op in 30 minutes and then tomorrow morning I go in for surgery. I find myself turning every which way trying to make sure I have everything in order. For the kids, for my husband, for myself. Did I get this? Do I have enough of that? For some reason my brain must be in apocalypse mode and thinks no one can access a store after surgery. My biggest stressor is vitamins. Did I get enough, I bought a pill splitter but should I have opted for liquid forms of them? SO many uncertainties.

I am starting a brand new life and its exhilarating and kind of freaking me out!

Feeling overwhelmed, wanting to control what you can and know... it's all normal. Yes, they can go to a store. Gasp: they can even take care of you for a change!

You got this. It'll all be great. :)

Don't stress you got this !!! Time flies I am already going into my fourth year post-op and I have no regrets, one of the best decisions I have ever made for my health and happiness!!!!

You'll be alright. I'll add my "you got this" because you do. You're strong. And your family will be supportive. Take extra undies! They are forever whipping back the covers to look at your incisions.
