Good morning everyone. Happy Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday). Is anyone giving anything up for 40 days? I think I'll give up carbs.

This morning I'm going swimming, then meeting a friend and going to the gym. This afternoon, I have to drive to Toronto so I'm hoping for good roads.

Accountability: Nope, I ate a date yesterday (biggest date I've ever seen)

3.5 years post-op:

B. Bottomless wells full of decaf. Scrambled eggs with leek and cheddar chicken sausage, havarti cheese melted in.

S. Protein coffee shake at the gym

L. grilled chicken breast on a spring mix salad with sweet peppers, cucumbers, WF Honey/Dijon dressing

S. Turkey pepperoni rollups with chive cream cheese

D. Cajun spiced shrimp on avocado slices with a poached egg on top and some Hollandaise.

Totals: 898, Carbs. 29, Fibre 9, Fat 45, Protein 96

Have a great day everyone.

oh my goodness cravings - your menu is so good all the time. I am shamefully boring. I am still under the weather with a horrible cold - I hate this! First time I have been sick since my surgery almost a year ago. Didn't make it to the gym this morning. Slept in instead and just dragging my butt - I am going to be late for work - if I didn't have some pretty important meetings today I would call in. Here is my food plan for the day:

breakfast: protein bar, coffee

snack: greek yogurt with rasberries

lunch: restaurant with client (meat and veggies)

snack: almonds and mini belle cheese

dinner: cheese omlette

exercise: will run 5K on the treadmill tonight

now to find some daytime cold medicine so I can function .... I feel like I have the "man-cold" ... I am pretty pouty about this one.

referral: early June 2016; surgery Feb 21, 2017

Lee-Ann, you can take the Tylenol Day and Night Cold/Flu remedy. It's not too bad and the day pill won't make you drowsy. Hope you feel better soon.

That's great news! Here is hoping you have turned the corner! Enjoy the Keg. I'm going to buy crab legs and filet at Costco and have our dinner at home on the weekend.

Good morning everyone!

Did the elliptical and weights this morning at the gym. Got to work to make my breakie and someone had changed the setting on the toaster and I burnt the crap outta my half bagel. Someone had bread in the freezer so I grabbed a slice of that, about the same stats as my bagel.
