What are you eating/doing today? (Tuesday)
Good morning everyone. This morning I have a doctor's appointment. After I am going to Costco to renew my membership and I will try not to get any of the tasty samples in my mouth. I'm taking the car in to get fixed this afternoon and I'll have them drop me at the gym so i can get a workout. Better than sitting around for 2 hours in their waiting room. Tonight DH and I are going to see a movie.
Accountability: I did well yesterday, but rearranged a few meals and snacks.

Good morning :)
Not much happening today -- doctor's appt this afternoon. We are also supposed to have someone coming by to trim the dogs nails but I think I'm going to reschedule because DH is home sick. I'm not sure if he ate something bad or if the stomach virus is revisiting him.
Post-op two years, eleven months.
Breakfast - KD
Snack - Greek yogurt, banana
Lunch - chicken soup
Nothing planned after that.
All water and vits.
Meg, I'm sorry that DH isn't feeling well again. I am a little worried about you not getting in your nutrients. What if you made the KD with milk instead of water? I saw somewhere that they put it in a saucepan with a creamy sauce and cooked it that way with a lid on it. How about a Greek yogurt banana smoothie with some blueberries thrown in, and more milk. Chapman's SF icecream in chocolate. The baby is going to take calcium and will get it from you if it can't get it from your diet. Sorry if I'm overstepping, but I do worry. Hugs.

Thanks for your concern -- I've been worried about that too. I did make the KD with milk. I've tried protein shakes twice and they didn't do well. Greek yogurt in small amounts has been okay. I tried to drink some milk yesterday and that did not go well. At this point I'm so scared of trying anything solid because it just comes back up -- or tries to (painful).
Meg I will put on my thinking cap and see if I can come up with something that will not make your pouch angry. I meant to cook the pasta of the KD in milk instead of water and then add milk to the sauce as well. Do you dump?

Unfortunately I do dump, but I wouldn't say I'm super sensitive to sugars. I can have fruit and low sugar things. I usually use 10g as my safety point. Anything above that would be playing with fire. I have had a little watered juice and Gatorade just to try and get some added nutrition.
DH just made toast so I had a piece with peanut butter. I will have the Greek yogurt for lunch.
Toast and peanut butter would be good for you. What about toast and some of the Kraft flavoured cream cheese? They have strawberry, chocolate, brown sugar cinnamon. Most of them are fairly low carb.

Sounds like a good menu Lisa. Your chili sounds yummy. I wouldn't be able to eat a cup of grapes, that would make me dump for sure.

Honestly I wish I dumped. I can eat anything and any amount. I am never full, I do get satisfied but never feel full. Carbonation does not bother me, I can eat sugar, grease everything!!! Seems like I didn't have surgery. But I have lost weight and the surgery did work, now it is up to me to keep it off and keep losing more, but not getting full sometimes worries me.
