Help
Just a quick update,
i was able to drink some of it today without vomiting so that's great! I drank and immediately threw gum in my mouth. I'm wondering if it was because of the aftertaste or as someone pointed out "Keto flu" either way, I'm closer on track and down 6 lbs.
I'm glad you're doing better today, and congrats on the 6 Lb loss; that's great!
I mixed mine with 5-6 whole ice cubes and almost a whole bottle of water (I couldn't fit the entire bottle in my cup, but almost, lol) and put it all in a big pink shaker cup with a small opening and shook it up. The small opening helped so I couldn't smell it as much. I liked it better this way than having the ice crushed in a blender; it made it less frothy and easier for me to take. I had some nausea the first few days but it went away.

I'm getting the drinks in ok with lots of syrups and a lid and straw but even so I'm sure I had the " keto flu" yesterday. Spend most of the day in bed with zero energy. Not sick just tired. I am also allowed broth, some veggies and sugar free jello. I've never loved broth and jello so much.

My surgery is also at st joes, I'm allowed the same. It's a ride, isn't it?! I find the variety in prep amazingly different. A friend in the states had lobster the night before her surgery.
Lobster! My mouth is watering while I drink my peppermint tea! I would give anything for some real food right now. I'm on day 5 of OPTI - surgery is Feb 16. When is yours again?

Great to know I'm not the only one feeling nauseous I've been finding drinking water afterwards seems to help, but it also keeps repeating on me after drinking, yuck. I made one of the chocolate ones into an ice cream/pudding consistency, trying to trick the mind..'yes you're eating', its not that I'm hungry but boy would chew food be nice.
I've not had much luck with finding a replacement for my morning coffee, I've tried 3 different herbal teas so far and all were yuck, I'm going to break down and buy some decaf coffee K-cups tonight and may be I can get to like black coffee.
