I just got a surgery date for Feb 9, I won't be on optifast for the full two weeks. I'm so excited and scared. I've been lurking in the shadows, but thought I'd say hi. I had my first opti shake tonight. I'm making decaf ice cubes to hopefully make it better. One shake at a time.

Looking forward to getting to know you better!

Yes, it's very fast. Trying to get all the ducks in a row. I'm a mom of 5 and a student. But mostly I'm excited with a little bit of fear thrown in for good measure. .

I feel the same way and I've got three more weeks to prepare. Good luck getting everything in order!

welcome and congrats

I was the same as you, I got a call for cancellation and went in 9 days later.

Its such an exciting time and I got to skip all the 'food funerals' - LOL

One optifast recipe I enjoyed was vanilla optifast, super cold water, some ice cubes and a squirt or two of Crystal Light Aloha Pineapple. Blend it all together and you have what reminded me of a pina colada.

That's exciting! I'm jealous you will only have to do opti-fast for 9 days! lol.

I was also called twice for earlier dates due to cancellations, but unfortunately, was unable to take them due to my support system being away until my surgery date.

It's mind over matter to get the opti down. I'm sure it will get better. Mixing it with decaf coffee certainly helped. I'm glad it's only 9 days too
