That was great that your kids did well in school. What are the carbs like on your almond date roll? I love almonds, but I'm afraid if the dates make the carb count high it would make me dump.

So tired today. Had my year follow up today so had to drive to Windsor today. I haven't logged this yet but here it is without stats.

B: premier protein and coffee

s: 1/2 Starbucks egg bite (yuck) and a grande skinny latte (needed the caffeine to drive home. I was dragging butt).

L: 3 boneless wings (hubby and I went out when I got home)

d: taco salad

I'm probably way off on cals so once I log this I'll add something as an evening snack.

No gym today because of the drive and I'm exhausted.

Doctor and dietician want me to maintain and not lose anymore so I need 1200-1300 calories per day. It'll be weird changing my mind set from losing to maintaining.

Jo sorry you had to drive in this miserable weather.

Are you where you want to be weightwise? The reason I ask is Guelph told me to stop losing at about 1.5 years post-op. I saw them a year later and they told me I was doing great even though I had lost more weight. Sometimes I wonder if it's just a script they follow.

The drive wasn't too bad once I got to Chatham thankfully. A lot of trucks.

i was toying with the idea of losing another 5-10lbs which would put me between 152-147lbs at 5'9. Funny how goals keep moving with weight loss. First was 250, then 199, 175,170,165 then 159. Now that I've surpassed them all I'm looking at more. The dietician said "some people get addicted to losing weight". I don't think I'm that person. I know I have weight to lose in my legs still. So I'm not fully content yet but if I don't lose anymore I won't be sad.

Most of the 3 plus year post-ops talk about bounceback. I think this is different than regular regain from just eating crap. i think bounceback comes as your body adjusts to the massive weightloss. Some of the vets advise to go a little beyond YOUR goal to accommodate for this. At 3 years out I gained 10lbs. It's hard to determine if it was bounceback, or my having to change my regular routine for months while I was in the States. I'm still working on 6 of the 10, and Christmas sure as heck didn't help.

So losing 10 now wouldn't hurt. I'll probably do that so it can be a cushion. Lol

only bad part of all this weight loss is my tailbone/bum was numb from 4 hours of driving today. Ouch!

My ;tailbone hurt for the first 2 years. It's fine now, and I started getting less of a flat butt. The weight seems to redistribute.
