Welcome Lisa, glad to have you join us. We always say the more the merrier. This is a great place to come for support and to be accountable.

Do you use MFP to track your food and exercise? I use it to plan my meals for a couple of days in advance and also to see if my calories and carbs are in the target range.

I use Fitness Pal if that is what MFP is. I really am not sure what my calories and carbs are suppose to be...any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the welcome.

Yup, you've got it, My Fitness Pal. I know that Guelph said between 650 to 850 calories per day during the losing phase. Most vets on here say to have your carbs below 50/day. Some vets say they can't lose or get their cravings in check unless they drop to less than 30/day for carbs. My advice would be, monitor and see what works for you. If you start losing, keep doing what you are doing. If you stall, switch it up. Almost everyone agrees to not eat back the calories expended in exercise. We have untapped energy stored in fat and that is what we want to use up during our honeymoon phase. Hope this helps.

Good Afternoon everyone! Sorry, missed a couple days on here. Busy busy as my son had hockey practices and a game this weekend. Plus we went to watch a few of his friends play Saturday.

I don't know what I'll have for dinner because my husband won't be home and what I bought, the kids won't eat SO I'll save that for another night. Probably grab pizza for the kids after hockey practice.

I'm going to the gym in a few minutes to work with the trainer. I'm going to get a package of 7 sessions with her on payday. Which will help me get my butt there more often!

B: Premier Protein

S: Protein Bar (made me feel sick today and now my stomach is making noises - apparently not happy with my choice 6 days in a row).

L: 2 oz of roast, carrots and 1/2 baby potato (after the gym)

S: premier protein (around 4pm on the way to hockey)

D: 2 oz roast beef, carrots and 1/2 baby potato

I'm hoping my stomach will settle down with the gym and i'll be able to eat but I'm still feeling a bit crappy from the protein bar and it's been an hour :( Usually this feeling goes after after a laydown of 20 mins and it hasn't.

Cals 1024, Protein 100, carbs 68, fiber 13 (net carbs 55)
