6 month follow up questions???
Hey guys.. I have my 6 mth follow up at TWH on jan 26... they have scheduled me for social worker... and 2 nutrition appts.... is one of them a group appt?? Has anyone who has done the 6mth appt can give me an idea on who I'll be seeing.

I saw the Nurse Practitioner, the dietitian and the social worker at my six month follow up. They were all one-on-one appointments and all very helpful and reassuring. They went through my blood work, supplements and meds and my food logs and answered all my questions. The social worker asked about how I was adjusting to new habits and lifestyle and had some positive suggestions for tracking and setting goals while staying balanced and sane!
At the one year followup I saw the dietician and Nurse Practitioner who again were very helpful and then a psychology grad student who was not very helpful. I found the session was actually pretty pointless. Just a battery of insensitive questions with no empathy. But others may have had a more enlightening experience.
On the whole I think the post-surgical follow we get is really amazing. I am very grateful for the excellent care.

Thanks The real me within.. :) just didn't want to have another group nutrition class...lol... didn't find that helpful at all.. since they went over everything in the binder that I had already read and was doing.. :)
