So much going on need a boost of confidence
My NP told me that I could literally be on restoralax for the rest of my life and its safe. She said it just kind of add water to your bowel movements making them softer and more regular. It truly has worked for me.

You have done so great but you have worked too hard to sabotage yourself now. Stop it. Stop grazing. Drink your water. Use crystal light if you can tolerate it. Learn to love herbal teas. Back to basics. You can snack but it has to be a planned snack. Breakfast. Snack. Lunch. Snack. Dinner. Protein first. I use restoralax every day still. YOU CAN DO THIS.

Thanks Leeann73!
i am hoping to get a lot more planning starting in the new house this weekend.
my partner is super supportive and will be helping me. i dont mean to imply my mother isnt but she is old fashoined and says
"what could one chocolate do?"
i know that way of thinking is a dangerous path.
thank you

As others have said, spend time with your Mom. Create some new memories. Maybe you can plan an activity together. Evening aquafit class, spin class, something that doesn't revolve around food. Start tracking again and join us on the What are you eating/doing today thread. Being accountable and getting that support helps to keep your mind in the game. If we see something on your menu that we think is hindering your progress we will give you the tough love you're asking for. Start by signing into My Fitness Pal and logging what you are going to eat and do tomorrow. That's the first step. We are there for you.

I do track every day on mfp but tracking the next day is the best idea i think.
i think it hasn't helped that my mom had a hip replacement on December 6th so she couldn't even drive up until today. so we haven't been able to go for a walk, or even go somewhere that we could exercise. its been bad being house bound. but that is no excuse. i should be getting some exercise.
Thank you so much

When I visit my Dad we play cards or board games, and have a big pot of tea made. No snacks. Google some exercises that your Mom can do sitting in a chair. Put on some good music and dance exercise from the chair. When Dad was so ill, I got those stretchy exercise bands and we did exercises while watching Family Feud. His fav. show. You may get jacked arms, lol, but it's still moving and everything counts.
I want to see you reach your goal. We are there for support. A honeymoon phase is a terrible thing to waste. No nachos or any other food is worth wasting this chance. A healthy stronger you is all your Mom needs, and all you need. Spoiling her with snacks won't take away her pain. Seeing you succeed will bring her joy. Hugs.

Thanks Crqvinchange!
i had received some great advice about not letting my mum be my excuse and you are too right she would want me to succeed so i am going to find some exercises we can both do!
we have been playing cards lately too so it is so funny you mentioned that. and she loves tea. the cards have been keeping us away from snacking. and the tea is something i should get in on!
have a great weekend

Don't know about anything else BUT I do know about the pooping! I eat unground flax seed with my breakfast and eat some beans during the day(black beans work the best) and I now poop on my own like a big girl. It also works better if I drink at least 6 cups of water each day. Once you get into your new place you will be able to make sure that your behaviours change for the better and make that place and your life there the best it can be!!

I was not a fast loser but who cares as long as you get there! I know the newbies check the trackers and the signatures so although I kind of lost track of how the rest of the weight came off, you should know that it was not fast and furious but it was slow and steady!
current BMI 24.7 that, my friends, is NORMAL!!! Strong is the new pretty!
I'm struggling with the water too. And not because I don't like to drink water. I do. I just feels weird going down lately and I have to remember to sip and not gulp. Although I have other liquids during the day (coffee, milk), I tend to count only the water as fluid and that way I make sure I have more than enough.
Clear water is the one the of best things we can do for our body. It's really cleansing and helps with weight loss and of course hydration, which is good for constipation and skin tone. But, as I said, I am struggling to get enough every day as well, so I completely understand where you are coming from.
I am going to be more mindful of that every day now. My weight loss this month has really slowed down and I think the lack of water is contributing to it.
