Fibromyalgia
I was wondering if anyone has fibro and if the surgery helped with the symptoms? I was told by my doctor that it may help.

I have Fibro as well, I have lost 69 lbs since Sept-11-2017 and nothing has changed for me.
I also have Osteoporosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
You would think losing 69 lbs that my rings on my fingers would be spinning and need to be resized.
Nope I still have a lot of swelling, I can move my rings no problem but no way can I get them over my knuckles.
So we will see with more weight coming off if things change.

I have fibro and the weight loss helped a lot but I still have painful days, usually when the weather changes.
Walking, cycling and household activities are all a lot easier and much less painful. I used to be in severe pain all the time, and now it's just once in awhile.

Thank you for the replies. I guess I can hope that it will help make moving easier. I don't expect it to take the symptoms away entirely but it would be great if it helps a bit.
