Happy New Year!
Hello Everyone it's been a while but i couldn't go to far into the year without saying Happy New Year!
Like many of you 2017 was an amazing year obviously physically and emotionally. I'm done 98.4 lbs overall and i'm really gunning for that 100 hopefully in the next couple weeks! (Though it is slow now...)
Ive has many NSVs but one of my favorites is...I grew! I'm measuring in at 5'4 now. Doctor is the one who noticed and measured me a couple times to confirm
mat that height we come upon my next best NSV..my BMI is now NORMAL!
I've posted some before and after a on my profile -since i have no idea how to post a pic here...
I hope everyone has an amazing 2018 filled with joy and happiness!!

Hi CC! Happy New Year - yes it's been a long while - I hope you're doing well. I still need to make it out to the support group, I feel like NOW more than ever since I'm pretty much at "maintenance". After I get to 100 i hope to focus on "FAT" loss. Emotionally I feel like I'm in the movie Shawshank Redemption! I've NEVER, EVER BEEN not "dieting"...so my brain is thinking "what's next"...I'm sure lots of people in the support group have probably felt this way...
Anyway, wonderful seeing you on the forum as well...hope 2018 is an amazing year for you!

Thank you! Happy New year to you as well! Congrats on all your progress as well! Those are some big number drops!!
The scale is moving really slow right now but it's still moving...I hope by next week i'll hit that 100. I almost feel like it's not that big of a deal...but still to come this far and not say 100...just won't feel right.
If you're on instagram you can find me at rny_gem Keep us all posted on your progress!

Hi Travelher!
Love your new hair and your amazing progress!! Can I ask who you're seeing for plastics?
My tummy is OKAY...but I'd still like to get skin removal on my arms and inner thighs/butt. My Butt took the biggest hit, I the skin looks like a baby elephant from the back... :(
I'm considering Dr. Derek Ford in Toronto...

Thanks! Short hair is awesome!
Im going with the famous dr. nandagopal at Usculpt. He seems to do most of the bariatric patients locally. Also I suggest meeting dr chivers (Scarborough) been hearing great things about him.
im going with the usculpt team because they have 3 surgeons who work together, it cuts down the OR and anesthesia time. Plus they have their own facility so you get top of the line care and materials and staff etc. Know a nurse who used them and said she?d never go anywhere else.
I have elephantassitus as well ? it is why doing a lower body lift with the butt lift included. My tummy is totally flat, but do have the crepey skin, I have a hernia so I?m fixing the tummy since the hernia needs fixing. Starting with lbl and boobs. My thighs are the worst, but I?ll reasses after my first round. I?ve heard nightmares about recovery from thighs. Plan to do arms later..initially want going to, but I?m looking pretty wrinkled.
