Postponed surgery

Neither Proferrin or Feramax brought mine up so Oknee(our iron specialist), recommended Feosol. It's a combination of both types and I take one per day and my iron finally started to come up. I was close to needing infusions and did months of the other two separately and neither worked but the Feosol which is a mix of the two types brought it up. She had said I could take both of the other but I found ordering the Feosol on Amazon was just easier to remember to take one per day. Most doctors all tell us to take iron salts so if your levels are not coming up and he/she doesn't suggest an infusion, you may want to try some of the others that have worked for us that have been down the same road. You definitely don't want low iron going into surgery so hopefully they can get it back up. This is the time of year that all the centres start running out of funding and surgeries get postponed until their new fiscal year starts so now you have lots of time to try and get your iron up. Nothing worse than the feeling of low iron brings. I thought I knew what exhausted was until my iron tanked.
