Make room for this girl on that bench!
Hey all,
It's official. Had RNY at Guelph on Tuesday (28th). I'm home now and feeling pretty good. Wasn't feeling so hot in the Hospital. Never new that level of GAS pain. Geez! I'm down a total of 19 pounds pre OPTI ( FYI that stuff sucks). I'm sipping my clear fluids and resting. Life is good and I can't wait to see what else it has going forward. My new me stared Tuesday AM baby! Thanks to all my OH peeps for being my cheerleaders. I couldn't of done this with out you!!!

Welcome to the bench! The gas pain does suc****ep walking since there will still be some more gas working it's way out. Slow walks are also great for blood flow and getting things healing

If you have more gas pain, I found that lying on my left side helped.
Good luck in the coming weeks, soon you will be back to regular foods!

Glad to hear that you are OK. Gas pains are rough. I always tell people to walk, sip, rest, repeat. Walking helps with gas.
In the next few weeks, try to keep taking small sips every 5-10 minutes. It all adds up to get your fluids in. This will help with the energy levels as well.
