Generally how long after internist do you get a call from surgeon?

I saw the internist on Nov 20/17 at Wharton Medical clinic in Hamilton. She said she was sending off my chart to the surgeon that day and that I shall expect a call soon. Does anyone know of roughly how long after I may receive a call and then start optifast?

I believe they are booking into February. I did my entire process through St Joe's so I wasn't going through the "satellite" Hamilton location. I would say that you are more than likely going to hear mid January, maybe later. You can call and ask to go on a cancellation list if that is something that your schedule can accommodate (you will have at least 2 weeks notice still).

I went through Wharton in Hamilton as well.

I saw the Internist on October 2nd. There was an issue with my sleep apnea report and I had to go and see the Sleep Specialist. I did that really quick and got the new report in by mid October.

I spoke to Kim to make sure she got everything mid October. She sent my chart that day and then Kim called me on the Monday with a date to see the Surgeon. I saw the Surgeon last week. I'd say approx. 2 weeks before you get a call with a date. This is just to see the Surgeon. You won't get your surgery date at the Surgeon appt.

Now I'm waiting for a call to find out when my surgery date is. It's been just over a week with no word. They told me they were booking into February and March now.

For myself It was 5 weeks after my last appointment before I got the call for a surgery date.

It is the hardest wait other then Opti Fast. Also the number they call from is normally unknown or private.
