That is great you lost 120lbs. It sounds like you are a vegetarian/vegan which is cool, me I love steak. LOL
I would be very concerned that your iron and ferritin are low and you are getting ready for child birth. There is a lot of blood loss and that will drop them down ever further.
I am over two years out from a band to bypass revision and I have been spot on with all my supplements, but my ferritin tanked to 4.5 and I had to get infusions. Not sure if you had the bypass or sleeve, but it appears many who have the bypass just do not absorb iron correctly or if at all.
I just don't want to see a new mother be so exhausted from low iron/ferritin that you don't get to really enjoy your little bundle of joy.
Im seen at the high risk clinic and am monitored very closely. They collaborate with the bariatric team as well to ensure they are maiing recommendations suitable for both myself and my little man
As i mentioned the levels are low but still within normal range and have been steady the whole pregnancy. My gp continues to monitor after child birth. I appreciate your concern but know that i am in great hands.

There is no such thing as a "detox." Skip the shakes and go straight back to solid protein.
Having done pregnancy and breastfeeding after WLS, check with your OB regarding appropriate calorie levels. IIRC, you need an additional 500 calories/day, but these do NOT need to come from carbs.
Warning: you will likely be absolutely EXHAUSTED after giving birth and dealing with a newborn, WLS or no. You will probably not have time to cook or enter your food into a tracking app. (I speak from experience.) Prep as much food as you can in advance; freezer meals and ready-to-eat things like string cheese are a blessing.

Definitely make sure to talk with a number of your medical providers about the proper nutrition you'll need to heal from childbirth and to be able to sustain the calories you need to breastfeed. Good luck!

I can't believe you are so close to having this little blessing :) I remember when you first posted about your pregnancy!
I had my daughter pre WLS - but the exhaustion is real (worth it but real) The best "advice" I have is eating whole high protein foods. Shakes might be good for snacks, and on the go. I was unable to successfully breastfeed - but I know A LOT of water is vital, extra calories and as little stress as possible (HA HA - my stress level was ridiculous and I think that was part of the reason)
Definitely meal prep, freezer meals, and easy to heat up foods. The last thing you will want to do/have time to do is a lot of cooking daily. I believe there is an app you can use to track food simply by taking a picture. That might come in handy for you.
I wish you the very best delivery :) Enjoy every minute! It was 4 years tomorrow that I found out I was pregnant, doesn't feel like that time has passed, they grow so fast!
Would you mind sharing how much weight you gained/lost during your pregnancy?

i cant believe it either!! its INSANE to think he will be here in 4 short weeks!!
protein is a challenge for me due to being a vegetarian, which is why i need to continue with shakes and that way it helps increase calories too -- cookies wont cut it now as i need to lose, not gain after the baby lol. the good news is that my mother in law will be able to make it to canada before the baby is here and that will help a lot!!
thank you for your well wishes!
the day i found out i was pregnant (almost 4 weeks pregnant at the time), i was 245, went to 211 around 5 months pregnant i started gaining FINALLY and now am sitting at 236
