One cup of milk

Made a smoothie this morning with one cup of milk and one tablespoon whey powder. And some frozen fruit

no dumping syndrom

no vomiting.

I am so happy.

But im not going crazy on the milk. One cup a day. I don't want to get intolerant again maybe I can have the premier protein soon but I am not rushing that

and the fruit again no dumping but going slow on that too.

Feeling positive I've for the first time in a long time. However I can't find my scale and assume it was "thoughtfully" packed for me in the last move and is now living at my mothers.

So I have no idea if I am losing anything

sigh.

I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday!

I am so glad you have found something. I will ha e to remember that mix...incase.

I wish someone would hide my scale from me. Lol It is my best friend and my worst enemy. I am sure you are losing and look at it this way, once you find it you can celebrate.

Happy over all for you!

Penny

Thanks Penny!

as you know i was having a lot of trouble with milk. and any and all milk products. the NUT suggested i go cold turkey and return to it later. so i have been having bits in my coffee. but this was the first substantial bit i have had in about a month. i am super pleased with the results. it is very helpful. i dont think i will be going back to 3 cups a day. that seemed to be the excess. but i am going (next week) to try a premier protein shake. if i can get those down again i will be very pleased. hopefully i get my protein count up before my hair all falls out! i love my blue locks and they are finallly as long as i always wanted them to be.

The scale, well what can i do it is gone. so i have no choice but to just fumble along until i get to a place that does have one. mums, or Julies, or the doctors office but the doctors isn't until the 19th of december. so that is a long way off.

thanks for the support.

Have you tried almond milk? I actually enjoy it more than normal milk. Even the unsweetened one is nice. Not surgery yet but I am lactose intolerant so only almond milk for me.

I just read that unless its organic it isnt made from many almonds.. Silk for example is not very good. Love coconut milk light.. not the beverage but the actual milk .. great in coffee.

If you have a good blender you can make organic almond milk really easily:

Soak the organic almonds over night and rinse in the morning

Put in blender with double the amount of filtered water

Add one or two dates (if you want) (take the pit out)

Add vanilla (if you want)

Put the mixture in a cheesecloth bag and squeeze out milk

That's it. It tastes great and is really good for you. Also, the left over ground almonds are an amazing facial scrub. My face has never felt so smooth when I use it. My teenagers love it too! (great for acne and smooth skin)

Alas no. Not the most fun. It has been a gong show. I had to move half my stuff to my mums 2weeks ag the rest is going on the 16th. I am moving out of my condo as the condo board is now enforcing a policy that you have to be related to anyone you live with so I can't have a roommate anymore. My mom and I can't afford the mortgage and utilities for just me. So we are selling. Paying off the mortgage and using the profit to buy me and my partner and inlaws a house. Other than money the condition is that I am one hour from her. And I have to learn to drive. But she lives in Newcastle so out of the city it will be. I have to leave the job that I love. I am quite heartbroken about that.

Oof that was a mouthful but that's the delio lol. My drama never ends
