Mixed Emotions - round two!

It is because of the St. Peter's fires. All of the hospitals have had to take the patients from there. Nursing homes are even taking the elderly patients that were in the regular hospitals so that the St. Peter's patients could have beds in the hospital. With that and the influenza case****ting beds are non-existent until they start moving people back over.

Penny, better to have the surgery when the staff can give you the attention you need. It sucks now but time will fly! I am so sorry this happened but you will be on the losers bench soon.

Thank you hear and so understand it's just such a last minute mind switch. I agree about the staff care.

I hope all gets better soon in St Peter'. Sounds like quite a time they are having.

Thank you again

I was not a fast loser but who cares as long as you get there! I know the newbies check the trackers and the signatures so although I kind of lost track of how the rest of the weight came off, you should know that it was not fast and furious but it was slow and steady!

current BMI 24.7 that, my friends, is NORMAL!!! Strong is the new pretty!

Penny I am so sorry that your surgery was delayed. Everyone here knows how we all have to mentally prepare for surgery and a delay is tough. You have a great attitude and it will serve you well after surgery.

We are all here for you. Sending hugs.

Thank You and I am trying to be positive about it. I even pulled out my new pjs I bought for my hospital stay and I am wearing them all over the house today. Lol

Oh Penny, this is awful. I can't imagine getting that call. You sound like you are taking it in stride which is a sign of just how strong and ready you are. You've got this! Two more weeks of nesting and you're off to the losers bench! Hang in there!

I might even take the nesting to a extreme and just sleep for 2 weeks. Hee hee

I will was the sheets again and stock up on food for the family again. The second time around I will be a pro. The first was just a warm up!

Thank you

Penny
