Losing weight prior to appointments with RN/RD/SW
Hi everyone! I have finally have my appointments with the internist and the trio next week, and I'm brushing up on all the info they gave us to make sure I can answer their questions correctly! I was just wondering how many of you had lost weight prior to going to these appointments? I haven't lost more than a pound or two, although I also haven't gained. Is that going to be a problem? Are they going to take my weight stability as a sign that I'm not ready for surgery?

Hi Lindsay,
Congratulations on your upcoming appointments!! At TWH, they didn't mind that I didn't lose weight, but they did weigh me to ensure I didn't gain weight.
You should be fine!!! :)
Good luck!!

I had actually gained a few pounds from my first appointment to the surgery date. No one ever said anything to me about It.
