Be on top of your meds even in the hospital!

Thanks for the advice Leslie. Guess this will be a question for the surgeon as Oneatatime just had surgery at TWH and she received the injection. Perhaps a case by case basis?.

When I asked the nurse about it, she said everyone gets them. It may be a "recent" protocol based on how many people were getting blood clots. A good question to ask as you're going through the process. :)

I have been in enough hospitals to know that you have to stay on top of everything ---so thank you for the reminder!!
