I have a date! Woot

That call finally came!
I am having surgery on Nov 22nd. I start Optifast on this Saturday, Nov 4th. It was suppose to be a 3 week Optii but the say my liver is fine so they are cutting it to 2 and a half weeks. The girl I talked to wasn't sure why they didn't pick just one week. I am guessing because I have a high BMI.
Canadian tire has a sale on blenders so I picked up a kitchen aid that blends and purees to celebrate.
Tomorrow I am not going to go crazy but Hubby and I are going to the Keg for dinner. I hear alot of people struggle with steak after surgery so I am going for one more and for a nice evening.
Also, on my list of thing to do is: drive to St Jos for Optifast , before weigh in, measurements, fill after op perscriptions, and pictures.
I am excited! I feel like I am getting started now. No more waiting to start.
Thank you all for being so great!

I was not a fast loser but who cares as long as you get there! I know the newbies check the trackers and the signatures so although I kind of lost track of how the rest of the weight came off, you should know that it was not fast and furious but it was slow and steady!
current BMI 24.7 that, my friends, is NORMAL!!! Strong is the new pretty!

Congratulations!!! Opti really isn't that bad once you get into it. Everyone finds their way to handle it or enjoy it. Go in positive and you will rock it.
I went out to my favourite Italian restaurant the night before and it was as good as I expected it to be and I was ready for day 1 of Opti. Enjoy your steak and make it a classic dinner!
