Halloween success
Last night was my first Halloween ever without eating any treats!
I'm sure that won't be every year, but since I'm in the honeymoon-stage I wanted to ensure I didn't have any. I was worried that 1 would lead to 14
Now, if only my kids would plow through what is in the house so I don't have to look at it everyday. #TooMuchTempation

I bought Ritz Cheese and Cracker (Sticks) packs. I figured at 100 calories, if I snuck 1 or 2 it wouldn't be the death of me. I had 1.
What was left over got bagged up and I brought it to work and gave it to a co-worker. Perfect little snacks for her kids lunches.

Yahhooo!!!! Well done!!!
Me too. :) I have a bag of leftovers I am giving to my neighbour's daughter today. It was in a clear bag and the Kitkat kept staring at me, so I put it all in an opaque bag. Out of site, out of mind! The hand off is in less than 2 hours... I'm almost there!
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.

Century Club and Onederland in month 7!!
Congratulations. It might not be every year ... but it could be. I'm okay now saying no to commercial crap (sorry), but when someone bakes a homemade pie, cake or cookie, it's a little more tempting. Right now, a resounding no. Later, maybe a thoughtful, considerate and well journalled morsel. We will see.

You are all so amazing and I sure do feel like a big failure. I'd like to say I fell into the candy bowl but I think I actually did a running dive. I am not at goal but getting so many compliments and in a solid size 10 so my fat brain is winning the "you can have just one" which we all know turns into a week of little nibbles, no tracking and surprise - no visits to the scale this week. DENIAL land is where I am at. First step for me is to get on that scale in the morning. This certainly will be a life long battle for me.

I think we've all fought those battles through the years. Its so hard. Keep your chin up and get right back to it, you've come too far to stop now.
I remember hearing a quote once about the temptation to quit being the strongest when you are so close to succeeding - It makes it that much harder to push through, but also that much more rewarding when you do
