What are you favourite go to recipes?
I posted this in the RNY forum as well but being new to the RNY game and introducing food, I would love to add some recipes into my collection that are RNY friendly. I thought it might be fun to share some recipes that are your standby/go to that you know are great for protein and work well with the pouch and dropping the lbs.

I don't have any yet but I think this post is great and I really hope that people post I've been trying some healthy recipes. So far nothing that taste really great that I can share but I did found a really cool low carb organic baking mix so once I get some good recipes I will share.
When I was newly post-op I would go to The World According to Eggface website. She had WLS and has recipes for each phase post-op.
Most of my earlier meals were cooked in a small crockpot. I found that meat cooked in sauce for a long time didn't give me problems. One chicken breast would make 2-3 meals. I used chicken or chicken meatballs and added jarred taco sauce, curry sauce, pasta sauce, Asian sauces (watch the sugar stats on these), chicken gravy, you get the idea. Just make sure that the sauces that you use in the crockpot aren't too high in calories or sugars.
Rollups with deli meat and spreadable cheese were great. Easy meals were cooked shrimp with homemade ****tail sauce (SF ketchup and horseradish).

I don't really have recipes, but I do like chicken, steak, or burgers on the grill. I like shrimp done up in the frying pan with a tsp of butter and some garlic too.
If my family is having spaghetti, I eat the meatballs and sauce, but make my own "spaghetti" by putting a zucchini through a spiralizer. It's really yummy.
There are lots of good recipes for weight loss patients on Youtube. I found one for Chinese styled fried rice using cauliflower instead of rice, and one for pizza with chicken as the crust that I keep meaning to try but haven't yet.
