What are you eating/doing today? (Tuesday)

Good morning everyone. It's rainy here, which means I will be stuck inside doing paperwork. It's like you want to go outside and play, but you have to stay inside and do your homework. Yesterday I got so much done before the rain started. I have a mountain of leaves at the curb, and my mountain is bigger than all of the neighbour's mountains of leaves. I win the leave mountain challenge.

Good morning :)

I almost called in sick today. We don't have a lot going on this week and I'm just pooped. To me it's so mentally draining to sit in the office and not be busy. On the positive side, I have gotten quite a few personal tasks completed.

CC, we are the first ones on the street to start our leaf pile... I guess we are keeners lol. We have a walnut tree that decided this would be a good year to max out it's nut production. They are making such a mess we just have to try and stay on top of it. Raking the leaves was just a by-product.

Post-op two years, seven months.

Breakfast - egg

Snack - yogurt

Lunch - pork chop

Snack - turkey sausage

Snack - pepperoni and cheese

Dinner - tbd

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

The pine cones on the trees this year is insane. Never seen anything like it. They say it means the trees were stressed. Could have been because of last years drought. More of our leaves fell over night with the heavy rain we got. Can't wait till they are all down!

You have walnuts. I am officially jealous.

Good morning everyone! I can't say that I like this cold damp weather. Makes it tough getting to the gym in the morning. I did 5 kms on the treadmill this morning and am heading back tonight to do a deep water aerobics class. Will be first time doing it, I didn't make it last week, it was too nice out!! LOL

18+ mos Post Op RNY

B - 1 egg, 2 slices bacon

S - strawberry greek yogurt

L - chili, cucumbers

S - deli turkey and 5 NSA gherkins

D - slow cooked beef pot roast (mmmmmm)

I may throw in a protein shake before the water aerobics if I need it.

Totals (without a shake) Cal 806, Carbs 46, Protein 78 (seems low, may throw the shake in just to get the number up).

Have a great day everyone!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Loved the deep water aerobics class, especially if they have good music so that I can get my splash on.

Good morning C.C. and all,

What was supposed to be a rainy day has turned into a mild and sunny one - at least for now. The clouds are dissipating and the sun is strong. I had a sore back yesterday and it is even more so today. I just used the heating pad last night - it's odd not being able to use muscle rub anymore.

B - protein shake

L - chicken breast, 1 oz. cheddar and 1 tbsp. Tzatziki

S - 1/2 cup of cottage cheese

D - same as lunch

S - Skyr and syrup

Same menu as yesterday, but I don't mind it and will eat up the cooked chicken in the fridge. Yesterday I had the inards of my son's taco/nacho plate and it didn't agree with me at all. 3/4 cup so I don't think it was too much, not too spicy, but may have eaten too fast. Suffered until we went to bed. Still a learnin'

I use voltaren on my hip and knees when they hurt me. Didn't know we couldn't?

Voltaren is considered to be a NSAID. I was surprised too. It may not be too bad for you, but I just avoid everything on that list. I had an ulcer when I was young and would rather not have another.
