Ughh surgery was post poned
Ughh I was so excited my surgery date was coming up on Nov 2. Last week I started getting sick coughing, gasping for air having trouble breathing. I don't have asthma and chest xray was clear of pneumonia. Im on 2 inhalers and now antibiotics. My youngest had croup, theyre guessing it was a variation of it. Anyway today I had my pre op.with the anesthesiologist, she feels I need to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get better. So my surgery was.pushed forward to Nov 28. Ughh so annoyed, not with her of course she was so nice and even apologized, she saw I was disappointed. I told her not.to appologize of.course, such a nice.doctor. Im just frustrated with my luck feels like its never going to happen...ugh I mean seriously its a dumb cold...Ive never needed puffers before of all the timing. cant have a proper.conversation without gasping. I understand why she did it, to be cautious for my health ...its just ughh. Ill get.over.it.
That is unfortunate but as you said, your health is the most important. You need to be in the best form of yourself to go through the surgery and recover. It may seem unlikely right now but you will be grateful when you are on the other side of the table recovering.

The logic side of.my brain completely understands and agrees, the emotional side is just having a bit of.trouble catching up. Oh well I'll sulk today and get.it.out of my system and tomorrow I will start the new countdown. I had a feeling this would happen, Ive been feeling pretty rough...was just hoping I was wrong
By all means, sulk away! It does suck on the emotional side! Just for a positive way to look at it, with your date you will still be able to have some turkey at Christmas dinner since you will be in the soft food stages by then!
