Never seem satisfied
The last few days I have been eating non-stop. I am not eating huge volume but I can't seem to stop.
I am trying to keep it to protein and fruit. But I am eating about 1200 calories a day. I don't want to re-gain.
Any and all advice is welcome. On October 20 I will be 4 months post op.
Thanking you in advance.

I think you know what to do.
1200 is way too many calories at 3.5 months post op
You are giving in to head hunger
Ditch the fruit as the sugar isn't helping you
Dense protein. Weigh, measure, consume. Wait at least 30 minutes and drink water, coffee, tea etc
Don't ruin your one big chance. Every day you blow it is one less day of great losing time.
Only YOU can decide you're worth it
I find I get like that when I'm ovulating. Not sure if its related or not, but thats when it seems to be happening.

Hi Lisa,
You're in the honeymoon stage where your weight will come off the fastest, so scale back on those calories. A quarter cup of berries a day won't hurt as long as you count them in your daily plan, but most fruits are too high in sugar and carbs.
When I had too many "hungry" days in a row it freaked me out and I returned to protein shakes and water for a day to sort of reset my taste buds and brain, then back to dense protein. Shrimp is a nice high protein extra meal on hungry days because it's super low cal and high protein. I add half a teaspoon of butter and some garlic and do it in the frying pan and it's yummy.
I find steak satisfies me the most out of any dense protein.
Try to do things that will distract you away from food. Go for a long walk or swim or do something with your hands, like a craft or video games.

I have decided to go back to basics. I cleared my apartment of all fruit. I am having protein shakes for breakfast, protein bar for lunch and dense protein for snacks and dinner with a no sugar added jello or pudding for my evening snack.
Thank you all for your responses.
Lisa.
