Less than 3 weeks on OptiFast?

I weighed 332 when I met my surgeon. I got 2 weeks of opti.

I went through Guelph and I had heard (not 100 percent sure its true) that they don't go entirely by weight, they see how you carry your weight, especially the abdomen area.

I do know my liver was what did my GP say, not as fatty as she expected to see lol So, could have been a less fatty liver, as I figured I would get 3 weeks of opti.

Good luck with your meet the surgeon, and hopefully you can get two weeks of opti instead of three.

I was told I will need to do 3 weeks. Why? Because of my size. I am 320 lbs at 5'6. He said the longer I am on the fast the less dangerous it will be. The fast is to shrink our livers and leave room. I figure better safe then sorry so 3 weeks it is. I am far from a expert. Waiingt on call with Date.
