8 Month Surgiversary Update
Thank you so much, Manda. You're doing amazing too!
I was happy I could jump back into activity after a month of being sick. I thought it would be super hard, but it wasn't. The hardest part is motivating myself to get out, lol.
I'm in Sault Ste. Marie, and we are surrounded by nature, and luckily, great trails.

Thanks for the kind words!
You must have super motivation, because you are killing it with all your activity.
I wish I had just a portion of your motivation, might get me off my butt lol I know we all struggle with our motivation now and then, but you are doing awesome!
I've had difficulty with energy with most of my recovery, but the last month or so, I've seen an improvement. I haven't been able to tolerate my CPAP since the first week after surgery, and I have severe sleep apnea. So, I'm sure that's been a factor.
I was told it was normal for the first few months not to tolerate it, but six plus months, my doctor now suspects, either my sleep apnea has improved that the pressure is too high, or perhaps I no longer need it. Like I said the last month or so my energy has been better, so I just now need to get my motivation going the exercise route lol
Never been to Sault Ste Marie, but those pictures are beautiful. A bit jealous I admit :)
Keep on doing what you are doing.

I had an entire month of almost complete inactivity and it scared me because I was worried I'd go back to never wanting to move, but thankfully that didn't happen.
I like trying to challenge myself to go further, do more, explore new trails, but sometimes it works against me and I become indecisive about what to do because there are too many options.
I love being out in nature, and I love taking photos, so that motivates me. I don't like routine and try to switch up the trails I choose, or the activities I do, but I do have favourite trails. I've never liked going to a gym, and could never motivate myself to go. I do arm exercises at home with 1-2 Lb weights for now. I have some 5 Lb weights but still find them too much, lol.
