I am balling for no reason, and everything brings me to tears these days post -op day 8.

Not sad or depressed just very emotional about everything.

This is very common. We store hormones in our fat. As we quickly lose hormones are dumped into our system. It will even out in a few days.

I haven't felt this yet but thanks for posting as I will be watching for it.

With the bipolar I have to watch for mood swings

Awww! I'm trying to think if I cried, and I think I had a couple of days where I did too. I'm over it... although over it for me is still a bit more crying than the average person. I cry at that IKEA commercial where the cow figurine falls and breaks. Haha. So I may not be the best marker!

This is not only a physical recovery, its also emotional! I don't remember if I was ever balling, but if I didn't, I'm pretty sure I came close. First month was very emotional for me. It's totally normal! It will get better!!
