HOME!!! Let's Try This Again
on 9/21/17 10:00 am
Hi All,
I am home after my 1 week stay in hospital with dehydration and malnutrition! So great to be home. I never thought I was so far gone, it took a week to get all my electrolytes back to normal.
Home to start recovery again. So far soups, oatmeal and a bit of egg have stayed down. I am more focused on fluids and trying to get the protein in. Not easy but I am NOT going back to hospital.
Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes
Glad to hear you are home and on the mend. Wishing you a swift and easy recovery from hereon in. :)

I'm so glad you're back home. You're recovery will be much faster now. Give yourself the time you need and just concentrate on sipping, napping and walking when you can. Getting used to what you are supposed to do and when is challenging, especially when you've gone through complications. Continued improvement Bo!

Glad that you are home.
Yes, fluids most important early on, followed by protein. I know early out its not easy. I had a hard time getting protein in, but even though my hospital is not a fan of protein shakes...I got the costco premier protein shakes, they really helped getting my protein in.
Good luck with your recovery!
