Hello Linda! Thank you so much for the kind message and my apologies for the late reply - I just happened to see it now! I did indeed go to the doctor and he recommended increasing the dose of my PPI, so after doing that and cutting back on the coffee a bit I've been feeling much better. Thank you so much for your concern that is so sweet of you! Hope you've been doing well also

Having my usual today. Had a great weekend with no kid so did a few date nights. Stayed on plan friday and Saturday night. Had my splurge meal last night (steak tenderloin with mixed roasted vegetables and 2 tbs of mashed potatoes and au jus). Was fantastic. We haven't done steak in a long time so was a nice treat.

predictably up a pound today after such a heavy dinner. no worries, it'll be gone in the next day or two.

Yes I do.

Makes 6 large/jumbo size muffins 350 degree oven

My recipe:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 banana (smashed)
  • 1/4 cup splenda
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tbs baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups of oats
  • 1.5 scoops of vanilla premier protein powder (I've recently bought the PC choice vanilla powder to try...it would be 3 scoops of that ...smaller scoops)
  • 1 cup of caramel premier protein (pre-made shake...you can use vanilla also)
  • raisins (I sprinkle raisins on top)

combine all of the above with the exception of raisins, pour into muffin tins (I like the silicone muffin cups because the batter doesn't stick...i ordered them off amazon). Sprinkle the tops with raisins (my hubby likes chocolate chips). or omit toppings.

bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees for 20 minutes. then turn off the oven and let them sit in the cooling oven for another 10 minutes...and then pull them out.

with the raisins they are around 209 calories and 17 grams of protein.

Like Meg, I rushed out and forgot to take my vitamins. I have to start putting them in my 7 day pill case again, although my daughter's dog chewed one up - now 6 days in a week - lol.

Tanya you are doing well. Like Leeann, I followed the Guelph plan until my visit with the surgeon, then went back to the one from TWH. Including Opti, I was 6 weeks on fluids that didn't include cottage cheese or scrambled eggs. It kept me vigilant and focused, although I haven't had Cream of anything soup since.

B - protein shake and large black decaf.

S - Armstrong cheese stick

L - 3/4 cup 1% cottage cheese

S - chicken pepperette

D - 6 chicken meatballs with 1/2 cup stewed tomatoes and 1 oz. cheddar

Calories: 768, Protein: 87, Carbs: 29. Vitamins tonight. All water.

Working today. That's about it. Not much to do today which is fine.

D: Tenderloin and half a baked potatoe with cheese

Need something else in here but I couldn't get to Costco to grab my premier so I'll be going after work and grabbing them and hopefully get one in tonight before bed. Haven't counted that in my totals yet.

Late posting. Back to work today after an amazing holiday. Work is brutal. I will be going home after to collapse!

Lost a little weight while away. It would be nice if I kept it off and a bit more.
