Morning everyone!
6 days post op (Feels good to finally say postop!)
Lets start with the oh so exciting menu!
Breakfast - 1/4 cup skyr plain yogurt
snack - 1/2 bottle isopure protein water
lunch - 1/4 cup cottage cheese
snack - 1/2 bottle isopure protein water
dinner - 1/4 cup cream of chicken soup (with protein added)
Today, I am being very ambitious....my sisters dogs still live with her ex...so she occasionally meets up with them at the dog park. I am tagging along...and sitting on a bench outside the actual park. If I get tired, I'll have the car keys and I will go recline in the car. Once my sister sees me retreat to the car she will start to wrap up her visit and then we will come home.
Other than that, I'm not really planning on much. I have some food logging I want to catch up on in my happy planner, so i may do that this afternoon.
Tanya - with the cottage cheese, do you sift it so that it's not lumpy? I thought about adding cottage cheese to my soups but wondered about this. I thought it was for the "soft food" stage.

Cottage cheese is on the full liquid phase at TWH, but to answer your question, I actually chew the curds down a bit before swallowing.
I've been having cottage cheese since day 2 (after being back from the hospital). I find it a great source of protein, and easy on my pouch. I literally eat it one kernel at a time, with an espresso spoon, and break it up in my mouth. :)

Century Club and Onederland in month 7!!
Hello everyone
it is the week before my monthly friend arrives and it plays havoc with my food cravings still. Last night I stayed up extra late for work and made some poor snack choices. Today, to get my head in the game and settle my tummy I am going to have a "shake" day with a light supper. Protein shakes for breakfast, lunch, snack and then scrambled eggs for dinner. The scale has been moving quite well lately and I have been feeling mentally well. Ready for my woman's cycle to end permanently but no sign of that. Lol.
referral: early June 2016; surgery Feb 21, 2017
Good morning :)
Not a great start to the day today. Forgot to take my meds, forgot to pack my vitamins in my lunch bag, and my cousin had to go in for emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix. I'm at work, but I will have to see how I feel as the day goes on. I have a big meeting tomorrow that I need to prepare for.
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - egg, yogurt
Lunch - chicken
Snack - Greek yogurt, nuts
Snack - turkey pepperoni, cheese stick
Dinner - tbd... we have some leftovers, but I don't know if it's enough for both of us
Snack - protein shake if needed
All water, maybe all vits ;)
