So I have been in a loooong stall
So at my three month appointment the Nut said I was food averse and not eating properly. Fast forward 6 weeks since my 3 month appointment and I have not lost any more weight.
Most days (about 5 days a week) I am still consuming 1-2 protein shakes 30 g each, 1 - 15 G protein water, 1 - 15 g yogurt and maybe an ostrim stick at 14 g of protein or a cheese stick on the days I work with about 1.5 l of water/nested zero/diet Snapple. Approx 17,000 steps these days.
other days (once or twice a week) I am 1 protein shake and low Fat soup and cheese and stuffed pepper or chicken breast kind of meal, no veg or crap. Portions are appropriate approx 1/2 to 3/4 cup. Approx 10,000 steps these days.
my hair is dropping like crazy! At least 1/2 gone.
no really change in measurements.
give me some advice girls to stop this stall.
If my hair were not falling out, I would be pulling it out!

Yeah, just afraid I did all this for 75 lbs and that is it...we all have those moments of doubt and wonder if we can do something better.
as for the whole foods would love to, but I do not have the luxury of time to eat as slowly as I should at work and am aiming for protein that is consumable as opposed to the carbs I used to reach for at work to keep going.

I am 5 days from surgery so perhaps best to ask the experts who are in maintenance but l'd say listen to your nutritionist and work to get protein from whole foods vs from the protein drinks. I'd also try to limit the artificial sweeteners as they can wreck havoc on your gut bacteria which is one of the things WLS is supposed to dramatically improve. So maybe try herbal teas instead of the nestea, Snapple and protein waters? They're surprisingly sweet of you get the fruit ones!

So sorry to hear you are struggling. I agree with eloon, as I tend to gravitate toward whole foods etc., but other than that I have no advice to give. I hope things turn around for you.
So sorry about your hair. If it helps, this is what I have been using, "Invati" by Aveda. I have always used their products and love them and the results I get with my hair. As I am only a few days out from surgery I have no idea if it will work or not but it is suppose to be for thinning hair. It's bit pricey though and you have to buy it from a salon. I guess I will know by the 3rd month if it works or not... just using it preventively now. I let you know what happens.

I would say you are not eating enough calories ..so in fact you are slowing the process. 75lbs in 3 months is significant... I didn't loss too much hair...i kept my proteins up and am eating around 900 calories a day...sometimes 1000 and my nut said I was doing awesome. 7 months post op and almost 90lbs lost with 40lbs left to go.
Talk to your nutritionist....tgey are the experts.
Good luck...you are doing great!

What is the protein source in your shakes and protein water? Is it whey isolate? Some are not easily absorbed which can lead to extra hair loss -- you will likely lose some anyways just as a general result of the surgery and weight loss, but it can also be caused by not enough protein. In either case it will grow back once you get further along in the process.
Also, have you had your full blood panel? You'll want to make sure that all of your nutrients are balanced given how little real food you are eating.
Don't panic!
A friend of mine is a Vet and we had a chat around my 3 months and she told me a lot of people stall and think they are done losing - but its simply not the case. keep at it!
