Loving the losers bench!!!
I had my surgery Monday Sept 11th!!! I am loving the losers bench!!! I feel like dancing today BUT I won't, I don't need to spring a leak anywhere . I won't lie tho day two and there were hell for me, gas pain was unreal! Also I have fibromyalgia and that was attacking my hips and back, and making it hard for me to try and walk off the gas. Also both my shoulders are filled with inflammation from Arthritis, fun times! So needless to say it really slowed me down, BUT I got through it! Today is a better day gas wise thank goodness! I also had the pleasure of meeting and sharing a room with Tanya C at TWH. I really enjoyed are late night talk about everything we want to do and will be able to do. It is an amazing feeling standing on that scale and seeing it go down. I have been having so much fun looking up new recipes. I bought this really cute measuring spoon set just to make it fun. I can't wait to start having lettuce wraps with egg or tuna or both mixed is good as well. Who needs bread when there are so many lettuce choices?! I can't wait to make my 1st pizza with grilled veggies, chicken and I'm going to make my crust with cauliflower instead of dough! So excited for a new way of thinking when it comes to food, and loving the challenge of coming up with new meal ideas! Love being apart of this group!
Hugs Dee

Congratulations Dee! I'm so thrilled for you, and glad you've gotten through most of the pain.
I'm so jealous you shared a room with Tanya!!! My roommate was sweet but on a totally different journey and we didn't chat so much. I would have loved a WLS roommate. :)

It was funny I came out of the washroom and their was my new room mate, and she says hi I'm Tanya and I was like omg!!! I'm Deezee!!! We were so lucky we shared a semi private room, so we decide to open the curtain between us to share the window view and close the curtain facing the hallway. It was great it felt like one big room, the doctors and nurses would walk in and look at us with a strange look on their faces until we told them we know one another from an Obesityhelp group lol.

Hey Dee!
so glad you're having a better time of it!!!
The gas pains never came for me, there was some mild pressure and lots of tooting...but nothing like the pain when I had my gall bladder out.
and yes our late night conversation was the best, it truly made for a memorable stay!
Congratulations; I love your positive attitude! You are going to rock this!
I found a recipe for pizza made with a chicken crust that I want to try, lol.
