Not really a nsv but an accomplishment
just a silly wee thing
i am a week and a day out of surgery so clearly on fluids. My mom has been awesome about not tormenting me with real food. But
i was making a protein shake for dinner and the applesauce was downstairs so mom went down to get it. Leaving her sliced strawberries on the counter. I looked and
looked away.
I mean I know it would have been disastrous but I resisted temptation I did it for something I love fresh ripe strawberries
it was tough but I grit my teeth and grabbed ice cubes for my protein shake
i am proud of me for the first in an innumerable number of " no you can't have that"'s
I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday!

That's awesome!!!
Temptation really is hard. We really do have to grit our teeth and bear it.
Well done. :)
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.

Century Club and Onederland in month 7!!
GOOD FOR YOU!! It is what we do/don't do when people are not looking that measures our success. Your goal should be not to be better than anyone else, but be better than you used to be! You are on the path to a new and improved you. A turtle doesn't walk backwards.
TOGETHER we can be BETTER
Best, MJ
that is an NSV in my books! Good for you!
