What are you eating/doing on Wednesday?
Good morning all,
Another beautiful day. Went to coffee with my local pouch pals to catch up, share info. and encourage one another. I can't say enough how important these local groups are, so if there is one available near you, have a coffee and a chat - always a good thing. Had my blood done early this morning - thank Goodness for Lifelab appointments and the dentist for a cleaning at 5 p.m. Going to walk 5 km. when I get home.

Been really having a hard time eating enough these days. Only averaging 600-800 cals on most days. Back to school right now...my energy levels are lower than ever and my body is in so much pain all of the time. Been having a hard time keeping food down lately for some reason, been getting super full after only a few bites and throwing up a lot... don't know what's been going on. Thinking maybe it has something to do with GERD because I've been craving really bland carby food lately.. whole wheat toast, crackers, oatmeal, potatoes, etc., which are good for neutralizing acid, but it's weird because I never get cravings. Thinking maybe the fatigue has been because I just haven't been eating enough. One year surgiversary is only one week from today. Need to try my best to eat more to fuel myself throughout my long days at school but it's been tough. Broke a month long stall and down 4 pounds over the past few days which I'm happy about, but I really need to get things sorted out with this unrelenting fatigue.

are you on a PPI? you may want to talk to your doctor about it if not. throwing up a lot can be a sign of a stricture (which is treatable) so it is probably worth a chat with your surgeon.

Yupp, taking my PPI religiously everyday! But the reflux has just been out of this world bad the past few days and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because I've been drinking a lot of coffee since being back to school? May need to dial that down a bit and assess. Couldn't even get down 3oz of strawberries just now without throwing up...ugh, this isn't fun... :(
Definitely eliminate the coffee and talk to your doctor about it. Unfortunately reflux can be a complication of the sleeve. Hopefully you can get it to a place where it is manageable.

I'm working today till 5pm, having dinner (hoping my husband has it ready), going to the last hockey tryouts for my son then flying to the season end soccer meeting. Busy night! I'll be checking my phone during the meeting because the team will be posted later and I don't want to miss it. Busy day. Haven't lost any weight in the last 1.5 weeks (I know it's not a stall but it's annoying!). I had lost 4lbs during my week off and I was hoping it was a kick start again. Oh well. It'll start back up again soon I'm sure.
