Newbie in Toronto - Hi!
Hi everyone! I'm Lindsay from Toronto, and I just found this amazing forum! I feel like I have 1,001 questions right now, and I love reading all the great info you all have posted. I got my referral and did my orientation last August, but I only just had my first meeting with the surgeon yesterday. I'm so excited to really get going on this journey!
I've been assigned to Dr. Huynh at Humber River, and I have my RN/RD/SW appointments scheduled for the end of November and I'm just waiting to hear back from Dr. Glazer's office about a date to meet with him. I have about 120-130 lbs to lose in total, although I'd be grateful for just about any losses at this point.
I'm still a long way off from surgery, but I just thought I'd introduce myself instead of lurking around :)

Ask away with any and all of your questions. I'm sure you'll find this forum, and this site, to be packed full of great people willing to share valuable information and experience.
Injust had surgery one week ago, and really couldn't have gotten through it without the support and advice from the people here!!!
Id recommend starting a new thread for your questions so they don't get lost in the shuffle. :)

Pre-Op=8.8lbs --- Optifast= 8.4 (was on it for 9 days due to cancellation)

Hi Lindsay, I'm also in the program at Humber. My surgeon is Dr. Klein. :)
I had my orientation last August too, so it looks like we'll likely be close in surgery timelines.
