Good morning menu Gang! Happy Hump Day. LindaM congrats on the new grand baby, precious I'm sure!

Didn't sleep worth a darn last night, tossing and turning. Hence up a little extra early today so I took my coffee out to the hottub. So peaceful, although a little chilly getting in and out! Went early to the gym to get some extra cardio because I will forgo my lunchtime walk. We did 6.3 kms yesterday, and my walking partner doesn't like to do 2 days in a row!

B2 - 1/2 ww English muffin, 1 egg, 1 cheese slice

Total Cal 1065, Carbs 63, Protein 100

I had a crappy nights sleep too. Awake since 2:30. Going to need a nap this afternoon I think! Your lunch walk is pretty amazing! You must eat at your desk after.

I hate nights like that! I usually eat around 12:30 and then I have my afternoon snack about 3:15 or so. Walk from 1 - 2.

Final night of soccer coaching tonight, going to miss it, but never again! too much for us.

Still have the dizziness issue and after 2 walk in clinics (the second I asked for a vitamin test as I suspected high iron...hemachromatosis, which my father has). Iron is 120 normal goes to 125, so I will dial down the iron supplements a little bit, but iron is still in the normal range, so not that.

I did a google search last night and I now think I know what is going on. I have had orthostatic hypotension for months, which is fine and manageable. this was different. It was basically bed spins any time I moved my head. I likely have benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. it fits all my symptoms and is basically little calcium crystals in the inner ear that get dislodged and float around and cause the vertigo. There are some treatments for it where they can re-position your body to try and get them back where they belong. gonna see if my chiropractor knows how to do it, otherwise will see my GP.

My sister was dealing with that. She went to a physiotherapist who specializes in this and he made it worse for her unfortunately but others swore by it. She ended up going to her GP and was prescribed a med that definitely helped but didn't cure it. It cleared up over time but it was very frustrating for her. Good luck. I feel for you!

I'm hoping my chiropractor knows how to treat it, I do have a physiotherapist too. so may be worth a call to her. Thanks!
