I tried popsicles out of fruity whey isolate shakes. They were awful. Too sweet for me.

I've tried lots of protein powders and I find the best tasting one is New Zealand Whey. It tastes great even with jus****er or milk in the blender. I pick it up at "Goodness Me" in Hamilton, but I am sure you could probably get it at any health food store.

I made one but with water. Maybe I need to try it with milk. It was awful!

My palate is so off since surgery. :(

Hi D.,

It really is best with milk and blended really well. I blend mine in my vitamix until it is really bubbly. The thing I like most about this one is that there is no chalky taste and no after taste. Have fun!

Is it flavoured or unflavoured, Barb?

Has anyone tried the PC unflavoured Whey protein? It was recommended to me by Jordana at TWH. She's a nutritionist there. I hope it's ok.

I bought all sorts of expensive organic whey isolate shakes pre op, but post op couldn't stand any of them. The only ones I could manage were premier protein; they were the only shakes I could get down.

I still use them as whitener in my decaf, and on days when my protein is too low, will drink a chocolate shake.

I had half a Premier yesterday. I didn't love it. But I could drink it, which is better than most things these days!

How do you drink them, Kathy? Cold, with ice? Someone told me to put it in the freezer for an hour before I drink it so I'm about to try that.
