Good morning.

Yep, lots on vacation hoping summer continues through September and October.

Hey linda. I wish I could eat as little as you. I think part of my worry yesterday with hubby's comments is that I am scared that I can eat more. I am scared that I don't feel a ton of restriction. But, compared to pre-op I still can be satisfied with around 800 Cals

I understand and feel the same. I do get hungry now, I am tempted by stupid things like pretzels (and they killed me with indigestion when I tried them - lucky thing), and I am also scared that the control I am feeling will evaporate at the two year mark - if not before.

I take Hugh's comments, for the most part, with a grain of salt because like Camperguy says, I believe it's coming from a place of love and caring. That's not to say that I'm ever happy with his comments or don't want to point out how he is not supporting me through his own food choices.

All we can do is make the best choices we can, get out and walk or at least move, and try to plan our meals. I have been told to be off protein shakes by 6 months, but one a day through the work week works for me - so continue it I will. I'm not doing many grains, have increased my vegetables, and do eat berries - bananas and peanut butter will not be on my menu anytime soon. We all choose differently and the key is to consciously choose and not go back to "mindless" eating and lack of portion control - my problem.

We are both successful, both struggling and both achieving. Life is good and this tool works great.
