Sitting on the loser bench!
Hello to you all,
My RYN surgery was a success. I can not say enough nice things about the care I received at all he Civic hospital. Every medical professional I encountered was wonderful. I spent 30 hours at the hospital and was discharged to the comfort of my own home. My pouch and I are currently frenemies but I am hoping to win her over eventual with patience and baby sips. I didn't realize how much I gulped when drinking into post op, I really have to concentrate on taking small sips.
My pain is managed with just Tylenol now I am still working on getting the gas out of my body. I am concentrating on getting my water in so I don't become dehydrated and I did manage 4oz of fuzzy navel protein shake.

YAY! Glad it all went well.
Post-op I found that lying on my left side really helped to relieve the gas.
It all gets better from here on out!!!

Pre-Op=8.8lbs --- Optifast= 8.4 (was on it for 9 days due to cancellation)
