9 month check up

Since i called twh and told them i was pregnant in may (just over 4 months out) they told me they will not see me until i deliver my baby. I was not having this as i am STILL a bariatric patient and filed a formal complaint with the obn. I had my "6 month" check up today at humber river as i have been transferred there. They were great

i have not lost more weight - expected as i am almost 5 months pregnant but am still eating pretty well. Hw was 331 this morning still sitting at 209

Hey! I'm glad you escalated that. Yes, you are still a Bariatric patient. That's ridiculous. Your health and the health of your baby are super important, and you need them now as much as ever.

I actually couldnt believe it. And its amazing how different each center is. But hey! Im getting the care i need as is my baby boy - i just want to make sure im feuling him with everything i can considering what i can take in is solimited. I take in about 800 cals a day and they want 1200 ð??" And extra protein shake it is lol. Ive gained absolutely no weight in pregnancy and they want me to start so here i go!!!

Wow, yes... those are some big requirements. No doubt you can do it. There isn't one you haven't met yet.

i think an extra protein shake and an extra yogurt SHOULD do it. She said i can have two cookies if i dont dump lol my mom was a witness (big craving)

You are doing so great. Your baby will take what he needs from your body first and then you will get any "left overs". Lol. Way to go.

Lol thats the issue. Ive lost 32 lbs in the 5 months of being pregnant! Supposed to be gaining which is why they want me to increase the calories

Congratulations on your baby boy! I lost 20lbs in the first 5 months of both of my pregnancies (including a twin pregnancy) and everything worked out just fine. I'm glad you're getting the care you need now!

Thank you :) thats so relieving to hear. Its very neeve wracking!! Im being seen at the high risk clinic but they have no idea about bariatrics and where i was just over three months out and got pregnant even the abriatric clinics dont know what to do or say lol

That's a bit crazy that "no one knows what to do with you." I mean, you can't be the first to grt pregnant after surgery... jeez, can't ppl stop freaking out and just give you the care you deserve with the love and compassion you deserve?
