Good morning :)

Today is my first interview. It has been years since I've done one so I'm a bit nervous. It's an admin role at some kind of fitness centre so I think that would actually be kind of awesome for me. After that I have a bunch of errands to run. We had a complete lazy day yesterday and I didn't even get groceries.

Also, I have to admit that I was more than a little concerned that I had gained weight on my trip -- we ate at a lot of restaurants, and I always did the best I could and protein forward, but some places did not have great options. However, I just checked and I'm exactly the same as I was the day before I left. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe there and the average meal had more than 1,200 calories according to the menu. I asked for a salad, swapped out the kale (my pouch can't handle it), and added chicken. Right now all I want is a banana as we didn't get fresh fruit there.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - turkey sausage

Lunch - taco beef

Snack - pepperette and cheese stick

Dinner - hopefully cheeseburgers (we didn't make them last night)

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

Good morning all,

Ginnny, you're going to have to update your tracker to show how much more weight you've lost. I know that 180 was your goal, but you seem to have a new one in mind and are going great guns. I admire your commitment to daily exercise and am striving to do the same. My eating plan is doing well, but I find that I am tired more than I should be and don't have the energy that I thought I would have at this stage. Everything is easier to do and I am never winded, nor do I find it hard to do 5 kms., I'm just tuckered at the end of the day and can't get out during the day as I'm working alone. I need to push on and stop with the excuses knowing that the more I do exercise, the more energy I have.

B - protein shake and extra large black decaf.

L - 3/4 cup 1% cottage cheese

D - 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese and six large shrimp

S - 1/2 cup of Skyr and 1/4 cup blueberries

Calories: 586, Protein: 95, Carbs: 29. All water and vitamins.

Enjoy your day.

Revision on 10/04/16

This weekend was my first bad foods weekend since surgery almost a year ago. back to making better choices this week, but no regrets. I went to the taste of the danforth on Friday and had a chicken souvlaki, 2 bites of a spanakopita and one tulumba which was amazing. Saturday was a Wonderland day and made healthy choices, despite that. Sunday was a wedding shower and again made healthy choices but caved and had a sugar cookie (was awesome). Unfortunately that did me in and led to carb cravings the rest of the day which led to 3 cups of popcorn and a handful of raisins and cinnamon crunch cereal while prepping my kid's lunch.

So I've learned sugar doesn't make me dump.

B-premier protein with espresso

L-Chicken with mixed grilled veggies

S-chia pudding with fruit X2

D-protein oat muffin

will end up around 1100 calories. just need to stay away from the kitchen tonight!

Sugar does not make me dump either and I really think I have an addiction to it. It brings in ferocious cravings and hunger. I have to totally abstain from it. Sounds like you are back on track. Way to go.

As the quote says, "Life is about balance" and that I feel in my humble opinion is what I did not learn in the past and I am now trying to learn.

Congrats!

Super happy that I had no unplanned eating today and I also got excercise in. I did week 1, day 1 of c25k and I walked my dog for 25 minutes so almost an hour overall.

Breakfast: protein shake

lunch: 2oz salmon with some goat cheese and lettuce (client lunch)

snack: rest of my salmon and goat cheese from lunch

dinner: protein bar

my job involves a lot of marketing which means many days a week at a restaurant and this time of year golf tournaments so it is tough. Doable but tough.
