100 days Post Op
Today I'm officially 100 days post-op. I can't believe how much energy I have every morning when I get going. To be honest though by the end of the day I run out of steam pretty quick too. I'm getting anywhere between 700 and 900 calories a day and between 60 and 70 grams of protein. I think I'm doing pretty good on my eating. Lean firm protein like chicken breast is still pretty much a no-go unless I mince it and mix it with something else.
So far my weight continues to come down steadily. I hit 289 this week down from my High weight of 440 and from my surgery weight of 342.
This week's non-scale victories have been moving in the arms of my desk chair and moving up the seat in the car and pulling the steering wheel back towards me -- that feels awesome.
Oh and tonight I went on a 40 minute bike ride
I have started checking out gyms in town. Went for a visit at World Gym today --going to go check out our local Y maybe tomorrow or Monday. We also have a Goodlife in town but the price seems to be really high it would have to be really super special for me to join there.
I hope everyone is having an amazing Saturday. And for those that are struggling at the beginning of their food journey, please know that it does get better. Although I still have trouble with chicken, being able to eat some baby arugula this week was amazing.

Congratulations, Dilli, that is awesome news!
I bet the bike ride was fun! I'm going to go for a ride today. It was raining all week long and I really missed it.
I have trouble with white meat chicken but do great with dark meat chicken, roasted or on the BBQ. I usually add some low cal ranch dressing and hot sauce to it so it has the flavor of hot wings...yum.
